David M. Keelen, M.D., a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and subspecialty boarded in interventional pain medicine practices in Frisco, Texas. Upon graduation from Cedar Hill High School in South Dallas, he attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where he graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 grade point average in cellular and molecular biology. He then pursued his medical training at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, where he graduated as a Doctor of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at UTMB and is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. He completed his training with a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at UTMB and is also board certified in pain medicine.
He is a specialist in the treatment of numerous pain syndromes including chronic neck and back pain, post-laminectomy syndrome, nerve pain, joint pain, musculoskeletal pain, abdominal and pelvic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, phantom limb pain and headaches.
